Publication Ethics Statement
Sriwijaya Foodtech Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The ethical standards apply to all parties involved in the publishing process: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, and the publisher.
1. Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

All sources must be properly cited, and plagiarism in any form is unethical and unacceptable.

Authors should ensure that data are accurate and authentic; fabricated or falsified data is prohibited.

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the research.

All conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

Authors must follow the journal’s submission guidelines and respond promptly to editorial and peer review comments.
2. Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for deciding which articles will be published, based on quality, relevance, and originality.

Editors must ensure a fair double-blind peer review process and maintain confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.

Editors must not use unpublished materials disclosed in submitted manuscripts for their own research without written consent from the author.

Editors should take reasonable steps to identify and prevent publication misconduct and take appropriate actions when ethical concerns are raised.
3. Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers should provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to assist authors in improving their work.

Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and not use its content for personal advantage.

Reviewers should declare any potential conflict of interest and decline to review if necessary.

Reviewers are expected to identify relevant published work that the authors may have overlooked.
4. Publisher’s Responsibilities

Sriwijaya Foodtech Journal as the publisher will ensure that good practice is maintained in dealing with ethical concerns.

We work closely with editors and authors to resolve any ethical issues and uphold the integrity of the scientific record.
